Walking in the woods of Estonia

Hello!
Today I'd  like to tell and show you some winter beauty of my home country – Estonia.

As you know from the last posts, besides beading I like a lot of sports and hiking is among them.

When the snow finally came down (this year it was still rainy in December…) we took the trip in Otepää, the south of Estonia. The team of our friends leaded by one of us went to discover the winter forests.
So we started our trip. It was cold, nearly -17 C, but you don’t feel it on the go. Sun was shining and the forest was fascinating – all the trees covered with snow. Just like winter fairytale.

We have a lot of forests here, in Estonia. The main type of landscape is field, but the landscape of south Estonia has little more „mountains“. Well, the highest „mountain“ in my country is 318 m....

That day we made 17 km during the 4-5 hours. There was a lot of joy and jokes. People were finally happy about the end of rainy autumn.

They just made the snowfall on my head from the branches!!!

On the way some beading ideas came in my head – well, the beading is my passion and it’s always here, with me. I just liked everything covered with the snow. Here is the result J
